The RemoteStateTax.com calculator runs entirely in your browser. The state, salary, and work-arrangement values you enter are not sent to our servers and we do not store them. We do not require an account or email address to use the tool.
We use standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL) for the limited purpose of operating and securing the site. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which state guides are most useful. We do not build user profiles, fingerprint visitors, or sell visitor data.
